Hi there,
I haven't found any specific information on these new bling wheels on WW, outside of the Roval and the Emonda thread.
So, who has these wheels already? What are the delivery leadtimes when ordering the separate from the Emonda?
Has anyone had a chance to weigh them?
What are you experiences in riding them: do they feel as stiff and fast as we all hope they are?
Many thanks in advance.

That's interesting. Will be very interesting to see how this stacks up against the real weight of Roval's Alpinist (that are claimed to be either 1248g or 1284g). Probably Roval's website was written by George Orwell

Looks like you can use third party tubeless rim tape from Stans or DT for an appropriate weight weenie tubeless set up.

With TREK releasing the Madone SLR in a few weeks, it's very likely we will see a new RSL Wheelset, to succeed the XXX 6. With the RSL37 being quite a spot on product (light, good depth, good width, TLR, good hubs), it will be very interesting to see what they will come up with here. A sub 1500g, at least 60mm deep, around 30mm width wheel would be perfect.

I was going to ask about this....wasn't the new RSL 37 on the UCI regs (like the new rovals) but there was no mention of a deeper RSL?

My LBS said that on the picture he had seen, the Madone was equipped with deep dish wheels (deeper than 37mm that is). The RSL37 has rendered the XXX2 and XXX4 obsolete (since it is lighter than the 2 and faster than the 4, according to TREK anyay). Would be really weird if they kept the XXX6. A Madone with 37mm wheels also wouldn't look right.

Do we know if there are new ENVE SES wheels coming, mainly replacements for the 5.6 and 7.8. If so these would be good options for a new Madone or SL7...
Allegra- Steel Lugs TBC
Aurelia- Stainless All Road 8.5kg
Bertha- TT 9.8kg
Perdita- Ti Turbo bike 8kg
Serenity- Ti Gravel 9.5kg/8.9kg

All weights with pedals, cages & garmin mount

They have to be coming at some point, but I have not heard anything official. SES 7.8 update deeply needed.

Yup. Just picked them up two nights ago and currently set up with tubed tires. Wheels will eventually go tubeless with the new Enve 25mm TL (tan wall) tires.

Your bike looks very nice. How do you like the wheels? I'm debating between a set of the RSL 37 or farsport feder 45 with carbon ti hubs. They are both about the same weight.

Dont know anything about the Farsport wheels. But I've always had good luck with Bontrager wheels. Have the XXX6 on my Madone and the Aelous Pro 3V's on my Revolt. Exceptional wheels with excellent warranty, support. The RSL's will be my climbing wheels on my Cervelo R5 which will be used with Enve 5.6 for majority of rides. BTW the R5 is nocticeably quicker with the RSL's over the Enve. It should as the bike is 11-ounces ligher with this set-up.
