In case some one wonders about how long it takes to ship them (EMS). Mine just cleared customs some hours ago - to Oslo/Norway. It is now 32 days since they were sent. More or less inline with what is to be expected. Obviously I would expect quite some variance for individual shipments so it wouldn't take exactly 32 days for all shipments to Norway or around 30 to Europe etc.

I'm glad it's not just me.
Installing Continental tyres (TLR, or just a regular tyres) has involved breaking tyre levers, skinning my knuckles... and a lot of swearing. Perhaps I've been unlucky.
Schwalbe (One, and Ultremo) road tyres have been no problem on Shimano RS20 and Mavic Ksyriums... not tubeless ready wheels, so no central well to speak of.
Continental GP4000 (not tubeless) - broken levers, etc, trying to to get them onto DT Swiss R23 wheels (supposedly tubeless ready, with a central well).
GP5000 (not tubeless), not as bad as as the above but still a PITA on my 650b DT Swiss P1800 wheels.... yet my Schwalbe G-One TLR tyres went on way easier onto the same wheel, and inflated with a regular track pump.
Not sure if it's a DT Swiss thing, or a Continental thing, or the combination of both. I'll be running something else on my new Hypers when they arrive just in case.
Ps My wheels are in Germany... not long before they arrive here.

Winspace dismisses this as their 'secret sauce' which makes the resins highly temperature resistant. I wonder if this only applies to rim wheels because the disc version would be spared of such requirement. I hope this won't creak down the road. While not going to win on looks, all else good so far.
Edit: I mean this particular set of wheels. Wouldn't put me off ordring a set, which I'm considering.
They are good wheels but my rear wheel look terrible. Some good people here say they add character but I can't stand them and am considering adding decals. Your mileage may vary. I mean it isn´t even close. I can fit them on my current wheels (Campagnolo Bullet 50), but I don´t see how they will ever go on these Hyper wheels. So I guess I got to get new tires.

^ It's funny, watch this video and how easily his go on. I've also had multiple GP5000 TL on and off the same rim, and some be easy and some be almost impossible. I don't know if Conti changed something or not... maybe if their marketing guy is reading this thread, he can also chime in?

Rear wheel I did manage without too much hassle. Not as easy as in that video, but almost so that I think it might even be possible to get off. I managed the front as well in the end - after I cooked my GP5000TL at the same time as I prepared chicken for dinner - so in the oven. Even heated, with soap etc. it was a ridiculous struggle.
Only been out on one ride yet, but very good first impression. They were perfect.
If I were to suggest a change it would be coming up with some better skewers. Feels a bit silly to make a very light wheelset (for 65mm in this case) for then to provide the heaviest skewers I have ever come across. Not having 40 gram skewers is fine, but should be possible to get down to 70-80 I would say.
Really looking forward to see how they perform over the next months. Got high hopes and they are not any lower after that first ride.

Found another manufacturer that uses similar waving of carbon filaments on the structure of the rim. This time a well known one, Italian company Ursus, they have a lot of UCI aproved wheels, heavely used by many World Tour teams. It's the new Miura Evo wheel https://ursus.it/shop/road-racing/miura ... ront-wheel . I think there is also an open thread here.

My wheels, 38 rim, can sometimes look a little brown if the light is just so, but usually this is what they look like.
I've now done > 500km on mine on 8 rides, and so far so good.
Average speed 32.0 kph at 289W NP
By contrast, for my Flo 60s: 32.2 kph at 291W NP over 318 rides

The 30mm wheelset weighs 1100gr
The 75mm wheelset weighs 1380gr
They're clinchers with steel spokes and machined+textured brake tracks as pictured.
Each wheelset cost me a total of 2200-2500CNY to build. (340 - 390usd)
Available rim depths are: 30/35/40/45/50/60/75

I'd love to get a set of 40mm rim brake wheels built up.
I've had Rovals, Hypers, and many more and i've come to the conclusion theres no point spending a fortune on wheels anymore for me anyway.
As long as they look good, are acceptable weight wise and are well built, i'd be happy!
Have you had a chance to ride any of the wheels yet?
