Checked the wheels today and noticed they are now out of true, a few mm on the front wheel laterally and maybe half that on the rear. They were true to the eye yesterday when initially mounted. Has anyone else experienced this? I know tubeless tyres can affect spoke tension but was surprised nonetheless.
Same on my 353 and 454. I wonder if their new lightweight wavy construction is somehow more compressible.

When I first got my 202 NSWs, the spokes would sit at somewhat low tension with a tire installed/inflated. Later on the low tension problem seemed to go away. The only major changes I can think of are using thinner rim tape than the factory applied stuff an also different tires... No idea.

Hi all!
Your opinion about the 202 NSW CL Disc wheels (2021 MY) for a gravel bike/gravel riding, some times road cycling? Maybe, actual weight etc.
It 's an opportunity to get a new set for around 1400 eur, don't know if it worth that money..

Why go for 202 when 303 is lighter, wider and more aero?

I feel like I made the exact same comment about 303 Firecrest, but it disappeared apparently.
Regardless, I wouldn't get 202 NSW in 2022. They are too heavy for a low profile rim, too narrow for any rim nowadays, and too low profile to be fast in 99% of riding.
If you are into the low profile rim aesthetics, R2-Bike has various different Wheel Sets for sub $2000, that are sub 1300g.
Cervelo P5 Disc (2021) 9.1kg
Factor Ostro Gravel (2023) 8.0kg
S-Works SL8 (2023) 6.3kg

*weights are race ready, size 58/L.

https://axs.sram.com/guides/tire/pressure

According to the calculator on their website I (58kg) should inflate the hookless tyres to 54.2psi (Front) and 57.6psi (Rear). That's insanely low and a lot against my nature :|
Anyone who has experience with riding on these low pressures?

That's right, I'm 60kgs and use similar pressure, works a charm.

Does anyone know what the 303SE is? It's fitted onto some 2022 spec bikes.

interesting, can you share a link or screenshot? :beerchug:

EDIT: actually, dont worry i found it. looks like a new hub? 303s has J spoke, this one has straight pull. previously zipp is quite vocal about 303 series can go off road but some, myself included, found the seals to be some what draggy, may be this is more geared towards road?

I wonder if and when the 303 SE will be available? Not holding my breath though, during the covid times it will most likely take some time.
found this video:

Some say pour 10ml water out of your bottle to save that last bit of the weight. Sorry, i go one step further, i tend to the rider off my bikes.

Ouch….the Zipp 404 FC hookless became porky.

1.571g with tubeless tapes but without valves, lock rings.

Sent them back and placed an order for AR56 featherlight / DT240 exp wheels at light bicycle instead which expect to be 1.410g - but going to have wait at least 6-8 weeks for the wheels to arrive.

qq - what is the rim tape width for 303 FC (25mm internal).. is it actually 25mm or go wider at ~30mm? Any recommendation on the best rim tape replacement?

Always buy wider tape than the internal width because the tape has to conform to the center channel. Internal width +5mm is the norm.

Really? Only 50gr?
I considered to buy 303 FC because want lighter wheel than wto 45 for my aethos

I feel bora wto is slow engagement too

Does anyone have experience with the 454 regarding crosswind stability?
I am planning on buying a pair of wheels for high alpine fondos. Them being wide is great for comfort, and then being light is great for climbing. However, I fear they might behave too similar to the 404, which I found to be a handful when racing down long mountain passes.
The Roval Rapide and ENVE SES 4.5AR have been pretty good for descending. I however recently crashed my Rapide, and the new ones are around 100g heavier. The 4.5AR are significantly heavier and the ones are laced to the wrong hubs to be interesting for me.
