Just had a call from my dealer who attended a presentation where he could see the new CLX Rapide wheels : confirmed 50-60, different profiles front rear, weight similar to CLX50 rim brake version, available in May at the same price as current versions (in Europe).

To be honest I didn't ask, I was waiting for his feedback on this new wheelset, so we discussed only the CLX Rapide (I ordered a pair to go with the Venge I am currently building).Pukutis wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 2:46 pmGood info, did he mentioned something regarding clx32?mf22433 wrote:Just had a call from my dealer who attended a presentation where he could see the new CLX Rapide wheels : confirmed 50-60, different profiles front rear, weight similar to CLX50 rim brake version, available in May at the same price as current versions (in Europe).

BTW he also mentioned that the wheels are now designed first for tubeless and are clincher ready (when in the past they were designed for clincher and were tubeless ready), he said that the new rim bead profile is now different.
Thank you! I will wait till May to see the new models... i am debating between clx32 and 50....mf22433 wrote:To be honest I didn't ask, I was waiting for his feedback on this new wheelset, so we discussed only the CLX Rapide (I ordered a pair to go with the Venge I am currently building).Pukutis wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 2:46 pmGood info, did he mentioned something regarding clx32?mf22433 wrote:Just had a call from my dealer who attended a presentation where he could see the new CLX Rapide wheels : confirmed 50-60, different profiles front rear, weight similar to CLX50 rim brake version, available in May at the same price as current versions (in Europe).

new CLX Rapide (50/60 db) lighter than CLX50 db (probably identical to CLX50 rim brake)
new Alpiniste (31mm) lighter than CLX32

someone said "lighter then clx32". no question mark , so assumed it was a statement. That would be something. Lighter then 50, I can see that happening although I think CLX50's are not bad.

When he said "lighter than CLX32", he was refering to this new "Alpiniste" which is 31mm
