I noticed that I'm loosing some pressure/air in one of the wheels. Front stays inflated, when rear is noticeably lower pressure even after 3-4 days. Shoud I just top off sealant, or remove the tire, clean sealant (orange), mount it and seal again?
Tires are vittoria corsa control 2.0 tlr

Try more sealant so it gets where it needs to go, but it's not really unexpected for Vittoria Corsas to be soft after 4 days. The only tires I didn't bother to pump up every day were Goodyear Eagle F1/F1SS. Those tires lost ~2psi/week. They were kind of amazing in that specific aspect.

Running the risk of highjacking the thread, somethin new happened to me w.r.t. tubeless. I had a schwalbe tire on a zipp 303FC detaching from the side walls in most of the tire yet still being able to keep the liquid inside the tire. I have never had a tire that got unstuck from the sidewalls even when losing significant pressure (actually, the tires/wheel combo that i've used always seemed to hold air for weeks straight - conti 5000tl and hutchinson fusion).

My question for people with more experience is: is this "getting lose from the sidewalls" normal?

was it a true tubeless approved 303FC ?

Only combo that ever came loose from the sidewall for me was a roval clx50 with a Conti TL

Yes, on the zipp hookless approved list.

Clarification: they came loose when sitting on my shed. Not while riding. They most likely lost pressure and got unstuck.

32c GP5000S TR in stock:

Wiggle has Michelin Power Cup TS TLR in 28mm as well. I bought 5 earlier... 6 left in-stock at the moment.

Well this sucks. They sent the regular clincher version and changed the URL from "michelin-power-cup-competition-tire-ts-tlr" to "michelin-power-cup-competition-tire-ts" after I ordered.

Follow-up on this. I guess I figured why it got unstuck. I've tried everything I know to make the tire "pop-pop-pop". I've used soapy water, liquid inside, I use a topeak tubeless inflator but it won't pop. I'm able to get it inflated - I went up to 100psi (on a hooked tubeless wheel) but it won't pop. Everytime I deflate it the tire will immediately get unstuck from the wheel rim (except a tiny bit).

I guess the bike shop had the same struggle and in the end they just gave up.

Any ideas on how to make it pop? Is it important to make it pop?

Thanks!

While I have had some tires not "pop" I do prefer to hear that. Even my hookless Enve 4.5AR pop on every tire I have tried on them.

??? too much tape

Coming loose deflating by themselves is not a goodthing, gives me a uncomfortable feeling.

Folks, for those that have run Corsa Speeds - what is air retention like? Contemplating them over an endurance event (expect 13hrs of riding) and wondering if this is a good idea or if I should stick to Conti S TR.

Air retention will be fine over 13 hours, but…

Stick to the GP5K S TR because they’ll be a little more puncture resistant.

Does anyone have the measured width of any of these tires? Preferably on 21mm inner width rims, but other references help too.

Hey gang, what's the narrowest/smallest tubeless tyre that is still made?

I found these Kenda's supposedly at 23mm, but I'm wondering whether it's a mistake on their part, as I thought 23mm tubeless was done and dusted. Even if not, I'm not sure of Kenda's reputation.

Back in the day (which wasn't really that far back) I know Pirelli made 24mm....something like that would be ideal to put on 25-ish mm ext rims to keep within 105 parameters.

TIA

Pirelli still makes 24mm TLR tires.
Vittoria Corsa Speeds come in 23mm. Corsa N.EXT comes in 24mm.

Righto, thanks for the heads up about that.

Have you or anyone ridden the Corsas in those sizes?
Is tubeless at 23/24mm really that bad? Any comments on what they inflate to on a 17-19mm internal width rim?

Asking for racer-ish kind of person who weighs at 75kg who is thinking about aero, especially on the front tyre.

Running Conti 5k tubeless in 25mm, which are a benchmark tyre for me at this stage.

I only know the "25mm" Corsa Speed measures nearly 27.5mm on a 19mm rim.
