Nope. I never went with Ryde Big Bull. Too heavy. I'd probably have to go carbon, if I'd want something with a reasonable weight.

Cheers, looks competitive to the 30mm AR56 with 23mm internal

Although I'd still probably go LB just because I can pick DT Swiss / I have no interest in ceramic bearings.
Finally used my AR56's in the wet and they do better than expected with the grooved track.
Edit: Added a google doc here

Agree on Ceramic speed bearings. I rather see that as a slight issue instead of a bonus.mechkbfan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 6:11 amCheers, looks competitive to the 30mm AR56 with 23mm internal

Why? What benefit are you expecting from +25mm?jesper2913 wrote:I'm considering building a new wheelset for my cx bike with rim brakes. Is there anything wider out there than Hed Belgium + at 25 mm width?

H Plus Son Todestrieb. I have a pair on my rough stuff touring bike, which is running 55mm wide rubber. The rims are 32mm external - can't measure the internal width without taking off the tyres. The rims are definitely not lightweight, though, and only come in 32h or 36h versions.jesper2913 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 12:28 pmI'm considering building a new wheelset for my cx bike with rim brakes.
