Has anyone tried 35mm tyres on 17mm (internal wheels) and have any feedback on how they went?
Is it really much better (if at all) on a 19mm internal rim for that sized tyre?
Note: this is for a rim v-brake bike, and clearance is more than adequate to accomodate either combination.
I've got some Panaracer Gravelking SK's (35mm) lined up for my rim brake commuter, and can either:
1) Build up some Easton R90SL's to DT240hubs (I have all necessary parts here ready to go)
2) Pick up another set of Zonda C17's
(I already have Zonda's on a road bike, and I love them. But honestly can't be bothered taking the tyre/tube off and mounting the gravelkings).
