Reynolds AR29x DB or other wheelset

Hi,
I currently have a pair of Mavic Cosmic Carbon Pro Disc (non-UST) that came with my new bike. They're not bad at all but I'm looking for a second pair that would work better in the Bay area hills. My (flexible) criteria are: tubeless ready, less than 1000$, and under 1500g.
I've spotted a pair of Reynolds AR29x DB but I'm wondering whether they're fake or a great deal: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/bop/d/ ... 9714.html
Otherwise I'm also considering a pair of DT Swiss PR 1400 Dicut 21.
Any other options you would recommend?

If speed is your priority then check out hambini's unbiased wheel aero tests.
If you want to run gp5000 tires maybe check that the wheel isn't impossible to get the tires on (diameter wise and hookless).
If you weigh 100kg don't go for 23-24mm wide rims. If you're 60kg don't go 32mm rims.

Based on other topics of this forum I would go either for GP5000 or Schwalbe Pro One - what do you mean by impossible to get the tires on? Does this apply to the wheelsets I've mentioned?
I'm 66kg if that helps for further wheelsets suggestions

every tire/rim combo can be pretty different... I have no idea how hard (or easy) GP5000 or Schwalbe would be to mount on these reynolds. I've only put GP5000 on Roval CLX50 and I could do it 99% by hand.. Schwalbe P1 on various Enve branded wheels was a little pain in the arse. The (the reynolds) look like a nice non deep section wheel

model in general seems fine... 14xx grams is not particularly light as ~30mm deep carbon rims go, not heavy either...

Thanks - any other wheelset suggestion? I'm totally fine if it leans more towards a pair of "all-purpose" wheels (that would do a good job both at climbing and aero performance - 30km/h+ riding) even if the budget is higher.

My definition of all-purpose is the ability to be competitive in a group on flats and on climbs. No wheelset can be all-pupose "efficient" for both flat tt and rough terrain.
The more power you put out the greater is your avg speed regardless of terrain, and so if you're doing 350+w averages then look at deeper wheels for all-purpose use, or stick with 38mm for some serious attack ability when riding in groups or if you're climber and want the KOMs.
