I need some clincher wheels and find ok deal for ZIPP 404 but I never see that wheels with "gold" freehub and on picture they look like fake.
I don't want to spend my time and money on 200 km trip to another city if this ones are fake.

Can someone tell me from pictures is that ok wheels or one more fake ones:

Seller told me that he was riding that wheels around 100 km and he is selling them like "new". Maybe old model but he was not riding them.

He give me this info:

But, I never see that kind of red hubs and gold freehub.

Maybe they are fake :(

P. S.

I need to go for them but I don't want to travel 400 km for fake wheels. :)

Hubs don't match what the seller is claiming, and neither does the rim ie not dimpled

Thanks for all help! :beerchug:

I have some problems with new bike and after all I'm buying Cervelo S3 from 2017 in beutiful, mint condition but without wheels.

I need to buy some used wheels but I don't know what wheels will fit to S3 from 2017 and now I need to find some wheels that will fit.

Maybe I will take Reynolds Strike SLG, I think that one will be ok.
Another options are Fulcrum Red Wind or Mavic Cosmic SLE.
I don't have too many clincher wheels in my country.

honestly unless they are like free or something why bother.....

They are super old..
I see dimples so not sure what CG is talking about
Zipp hubs in those days where crappy.. so they could have been changed
any aluminum clicher would likely look and perform better then those on your s3
they are probably 10sp anyways.

what is the price?

Those look like the aluminum rim bonded to a carbon fiber fairing/extension. Heavy

Carbon wheel manufacturing has come a long way. You’ll find more aero/lightweight options new these days.

They are on 11 speed freehub.
In €, that's around 500€ for pair.

But, I think that Reynolds Strike SLG is better option or even Fulcrum Red Wind?
Reynolds and that Fulcrum Red Wind have identical price, around 520€ for pair.
Wheels are not high priced in my country (Croatia) and is strange to find fake wheels here.

It's hard even to find fake wheels im my country and is real enigma how are they finnished here.

Is that Reynolds Strike SLG or Fulcrum Red Wind better option for Cervelo S3?

Booth wheels looks ok, Reynolds is in mint condition.

As said looks like the rims are genuine but they're built on some random hubs - not so unusual, Zipp used to sell quite a lot of rims as well as wheelsets. They're super old though.

Thanks Karvalo. Then, Reynolds or even Fulcrum Red Wind is better choice?
