CLX 50 tubs are 1230g claimed. You can get used Zipp 404 tubs, then relace to Tune hubs for under that amount. Should be pretty light as well.

I assume at 25 mm width ?

Farsports 50mm tubulars on Sapim CX-Rays and Carbon-Ti X-Road SP hubs should come just under 1300g. You have to customise the order.

With Extralite hubs easily under 1300 g but a little more expensive:

I have a set in the shop under budget and 1170g weight 50mm deep too.

This stuff is really easy.

How are the CLX50 tubs in terms of braking?

Caden Wheels, 59mm tubulars at 1150 Grams. Come with some great feedback. Not a big name brand, but I was pointed to them by some very experiences racing mates. I have a set of 60/80 clinchers in the mail.

I run the CLX32 and it's meh in the dry. You'll stop, but it's nothing great. back to back with Boras and you'll want to throw the CLXs off a cliff. i keep 'em around cause they're light and stiff.

In the wet, forget about it.. lol

What kind of rim do I use - a good one, a round one, a flat one and one that brake well in the wet.
