Thanks Louis.. can’t really tell unless focused in on it.

And the rubber and ride quality still there and not like rubber hose?

Edit: just bought 2... Image

The TIME stamp might actually compliment my Timemachine (TMR02) Image

I still prefer 'old' tires. I buy them before I need them and leave them to develope a nice 'patina' to them. They will last a lot more that 2 or 3 years stored correctly. I have a pair of old Clement Critirums that I forgot about in another house. The treads are perfect, but I need to send them out to get new tubes. Don't leave them aging for that long...

Those wheels look great, btw.

Someone mailed a manufacturer and asked about the need to age tubs.
Nope. Not anymore, current manufacturing methods and materials means you don't need to. Even with the very high end, hand made ones.

Anecdote: It's the second shipment I receive from Spain :? .
Is this the cheapest way to send tubs from the UK to Canada ...

I received a pair of Northwave winter boots from Probikekit and I noticed they came from Spain and the only reason I was looking is that I got the full taxes (13%+18%) duty and handling. I emailed Probike and asked why it came through Spain and they replied with, our warehouse is based in Spain for anything coming out of Europe which I do remember seeing other items come through there before. Good thing the boots were onsale cause after they got done with me it was no longer a deal but on the upside I rarely get nabbed so I wont complain. The other point is try not to shop online during the month of November as its Black Friday and most things coming through the border are getting the full charges.

They're not mine, I borrowed them from a friend for my daughter who attended an UCI sanctioned event earlier this spring. All my wheelbuilds are made from non homologated rims... . I put my Arenbergs on them for the event, and left them on the wheels as a "thank you" gift.

He's one of the top junior racers in Canada (3rd last year at nationals at his 1st yr). and he loves his wheels.

thanks Louis.

Came home, kicked a box.. turns out my Time by Veloflex Arenbergs are here.

Now debating if I should remove the rear carbon and replace with a arenberg.. so running carbon front arenberg rear...
