Just an FYI to anyone waiting for their 11/11 orders.
I ordered a set of Feder45 DT240. Arrived yesterday, took about a week for shipping to Australia.

Yet to ride but the build quality looks pretty immaculate and tyres mounted very easily.

My 11/11 order (Feder 45 on DT240 as well) only just shipped yesterday. Hopefully it wont be long to reach the UK...

My 11/11 order was delivered to the US on November 28th, but I selected DHL shipping.

Ordered the 50mm gravel wheels. Quality is perfect, weight is right on spec at 1385 grams.

The profile of the rim does bow outwards slightly, so while the outer width of the rim is 30mm at the bead, the maximum width of the rim is around 31.6mm near the middle. Not sure I have seen this documented elsewhere.

For wheels shipped to the US (CA) via DHL option, what VAT/Tax percentage should I budget for? I am intrigued to try a set....not sure which option yet thoug.

Hi dear allrandomletters,
Which version did you buy? Hookless or hooked and why and which hubs? Did you had a special order? Thx

I ordered the Gravel FS50/30G Hookless with DT240EXP hubs. No special order.

I chose the hookless because I wanted to run low pressure with wide tires. S-works Turbo Rapidair 30c tires sit pretty straight and flush with the rim, measure out to 30.2mm @ 50psi. I had intended to try the new GP5000S TR in 30mm since they are hookless compatible now, however since Jarno released the results of the grip testing, it seems that Continental did not address the issues I had with grip from the 5000TL. The S-Works Turbo Rapidair were the best choice of tire with better grip and handling compared to the 5Ks tr. Bonus points that they are easy to work with, and are readily in stock.

Thanks, just beautiful :) Do the wheels feel lively, or how is your general feeling? I'm thinking about 30 to 50mm depth and prefer 50mm depth mainly because of looks :)

How are you finding these rims? I keep looking for a new set and quite like the look of these. Do they feel fast?

Hi Guys,

To finish my atheos built, I'm hesiting between two rims: Feder 30mm or 35mm hooked, with RD230 hubs. I'am mostly a climber.
30mm will be lighter, 35mm more allround, what do you think?

35mm and 30mm is 40 grams difference. You won't notice the difference I guess, neither is aero enough to notice either. 35mm might be slightly stiffer which is beneficial to feel on the road. I prefer the looks of more mm myself. I have a 45mm feder allround + climbing set.

My 11/11 order only took 5 days shipping from China to Sydney this time, much quicker than my last set. Hopefully I'll have them in Melbourne in a few more days!

Im thinking of getting a nice set of hookless gravel wheels. Does anyone have any experience of the 30/30G, 30/34G or the 36/32G asymmetric and know how they compare?

The whole setup feels very fast and very smooth. The bike just glides over rough patches and road imperfections now. Handling feels pretty great. Cornering and descending feels nice, with loads of grip and stability. I think the 50mm depth looks great on the Aethos also, with the wide rounded rim imitating the profile on the frame's top and downtubes.

I'm tempted to buy the Feeder 35 hooked with RD230 hub but I'm sceptical about lifespan of the exposed bearings to water. They would be for climbing on mostly dry days but rain/washing can't always be avoided.
Any long term, wet riding use feedback?
