Thanks ullmanz! I'm just a recreational rider so I think i'll do ok with the 21 spokes. I just got hooked on the weight weenie aspect of cycling.

[/quote]Are those the Gravel wheels? It's interesting that your wheels have no logo. I thought Farsports switched to putting logos on their rims.

Yep, they are the Gravel rims on Bitex 312 hubs. The rim code is: FS50/30G-700C (Hooked).

For the stickers, when I placed the order I e-mailed Sandy and asked if they could be made without them which Sandy said was fine. They even went as far as removing the stickers from the Bitex hubs so the entire wheelset is completely blank.

@arka, I have a set of 35mm Feders with RD230 hubs. Used them during winter in Switzerland. Rain, snow, salty roads etc. I rinse them down after wet rides. Very happy with them, also no stiffness issues for me (280w ftp, 1000w max). The only thing I don't like is the freehub sound. It's very loud.

Maddie, thank you so much for your comment. It gave me the confidence to pull the trigger on the whole set! 45mm Feder (hookless), RD230 hubs, Sapim cx-super, Alloy nips, Schwalbe one tires + tubeless valve. The only problem I have now is looking for parts to complete my build.

Oh btw, which tires are you using? Thanks again!

Got my wheels some time back and got the bike built up. The sticker quality is not great and some letters were damaged with transport. Fixed as best as I could, but I don`t think they will last long. If they start peeling, then I will have to remove them.

There seems to be quite a few people who've tried the rd 230 hubs, but cant seem to find any review on the rd 300

Im looking to get the FS40/30 hookless to use with wide road tires and with gravel tires when i get my gravel in the winter. Im in doubt whether to get the farsports RD 300, DT Swiss 350 or Bitex 350. The latter, is much heavior than the others, however dt swiss spare parts are easily available in europe, as well as bitex spare parts.

Im currently 87kg looking to get to 83 over the summer, so the 28H option for the 350 might be a plus, but could also op to go with 24H and use CX ray sprint spokes at least on the rear drive side.

Would love if anyone could share information on the rd 300 hubs.

do you think a 25mm would fit ok for a 22mm inside rim width?

I Don't think Turbo Cottons will work on a HOOKLESS rim, only Tubeless specific tires (not gp5k) will work.

Yeah NEVER put non-tubeless tires on a hookless rim

Argh, cracked my rear wheel on a sharp rock. Does anyone know if there is any kind of crash replacement plan in place?

Anyone heard about a Feder 55mm hooked version? They do hookless, but not keen on the inherent risks associated with hookless on narrow rim / tyre.
