Do you mean those slits in the braking surface. Because some brands milled these into the rim braking surface to improve bite of brake pads, especially in the wet. But if you have a disc brake wheelset, they seem to have recycled rim brake rims.
Or am I missing the wrinkles you mention?

Not the brake track. The wrinkles are under the clear coat finish. You can see sort of a wavy effect on the carbon.Bjobjo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 12:29 pmDo you mean those slits in the braking surface. I am not a carbon wheel expert -but I do have a master thesis on composites- but that looks like slight movement of the fibres under compaction. I wouldn't really worry about it but quickly sending an email to Farsports might be best.openwheelracing wrote: ↑Wed Jun 08, 2022 8:29 amNot the brake track. Could even be visual effect. If the rim is smooth I would ignore it.

Just got these bad boys back from Berd. 35mm hooked Feders. 1,077g
Total cost was about $1200. Thats almost $1 per g which is hard to come by these days.

For those who are interested, I have a brand new set of feder 30mm high with RD230 + CX ray (1136g set) for sale. Just rode 200km to test them (I planned to have a mountain built who will not happen). PM me for pics or infos.
Hello guys,
I'm tempted to get their new REVO wheelset in 56 and with their RD230 hubs, they are the lightest thing available at 1315g.
The thing is I'm a bit worried about the reliability and especially the fact that they are only 21 spokes at the back.
So do any of you have feedback on those hubs
Note: I'm 62kg

Does anyone have any knowledge about the FS45/38G? It is mentioned in the table at the bottom of the page, but not shown among the profiles or in the order menu. Is it possible to order for ordinary consumers or is it reserved for OEM?
Seems like a great aero gravel alternative for tyres 38-40 mm.

I have them. They just work fine. Indeed they are not super stiff (compared to dt240 and also Bitex 312 which I have) but for me (63 kg, around 320w ftp with zero sprint) stiff enough. I rode them around 3000 km mostly in races but they never let me down. Fore sure its not the hub which is the limiting factorAress wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 8:39 amHello guys,

I'm scared because on the rear, since its only 21 spokes, it means the breaking force is applied through radial spokes
But if you guys are telling me it's okay, then no problem
