Also in Belgium. I bought a gravel wheelset and didn't have to pay any duties. I did have to wait more than two months to get it though.
It's actually duty prepaid by our forwarder, not duty free.
Yes, that's what I was meaning to say. Thanks for the clarification.

I ordered a pair of the Ultralight Feder wheels (FSD35CM-27T-SUD) on Nov 25. Hookless rims with 35mm depth, 28mm outer width, 22mm inner width. FAR230 hubs with standard bearings and Shimano freehub. Sapim CX-Super spokes. Claimed weight is 1070 grams, and with a no-hole rim bed, will not require tape to set up tubeless with Continental 5000S TR tires. Will post weight and impressions when they arrive.

Would you recommend a hookless Feder or hookless gravel wheelset for 28mm tires? Which depth? I've heard the wider the tire the deeper the rim should be to make use of the aerodynamic

For full aerodynamic effect you need a tire that is 105% the (actual) with of your tires, so if your 28mm tires actually measure 30mm mounted you'd want a 32mm wide wheel if possible.

Here is an excellent Marginal Gains vidio on the subject:

I wouldn't ride a 28c tire on a hookless rim. The pressures needed would probably be at the higher acceptable limit for hookless rims.

The newly released gp5000 tr s should be capable of hookless rims

The newly released gp5000 tr s should be capable of hookless rims, which depth do you recommend? For approximately 30kmh average speed

The deeper the better, but it depends on where you ride (do you have a lot of crosswind’s?), what weight you are looking for and so on

I just thought about 28mm depth front with 32mm external and 36mm depth with 32mm external on the back, or 50mm depth with 30mm external. I just see, that there is a big additional weight going deeper and I don't know what makes the most sense

Actually the 50mm depth rims are very light within the industry, therefore I thought about considering 50mm,what are your thoughts

Especially what's interesting for me is, is it better to have the 105% applied with 32mm external and 28/36mm deep rim or deeper rim with max 50mm

For road use I'd definetly go with 28c tyres and the 50 gravel rims. Not perfectly 105 % rule, but still pretty flush and aero and while also being pretty light.

Ordered Farsports Gravel wheelset (hooked 30mm depth/30mm external width w/ DT350 hubs) on 11/11, shipped 11/16, and received 12/4 in the USA. Fantastic build quality. Advertised as 1370g but actually weighed in at 1340g.
