Good question. I've only seen these hubs as 6-bolt. At the same time, I had read somewhere that someone had labeled these wheels as centerlock, but I think that's a mistake. Pretty confident they are 6-bolt.

It was great being large in the school yard but since then it's been downhill all the way (literally). Really nice wheels, (no bead hooks) but I'm afraid I am just too big. Sometimes it would be nice to be the size of a jockey.

These looks awesome. Wish extralite would sell the rims alone but the package with spd-2 is nice. A stronger rider could just replace the lightweight spoke for cx-rays to gain a bit of stiffness at the expense of mininal weight gain and still have a very lightweight pair of disc clincher wheels.

I've always ridden CX-rays and never ridden Megalites so I'm curious to know how much I'll notice the difference at 160 lbs. I know that the megas are 82% as stiff as CX-rays. As long as there is no rub on hard out-of-saddle stuff, I'm good with it.

I can not see rider weight limit on web pages..and the rims are hookless, what is the max recommended tyre pressure? I thought hookless is good for cx/gravel..

There is no definitive rider limit yet because the first customers haven't tested the wheels yet.
Guinea pigs. I advise you to take it easy and challenge the wheels incrementally until you have full confidence in them. At least then you'll see warning signs before anything fails if there is a problem.
It's got nothing to do with extralite. I like extralite. It's simply an approach that helps you stay alive. No brand is above the law of physics.
