I know there are lighter tires but all things considered a gp4000s2 23c is hard to beat.

It's wide like 25-26mm on modern rims and weighs just over 200gr. It has some puncture protection and low rolling resistance. Going lighter would be quite crazy, only cheaper I'd understand if you're looking for a training tire to get more mileage out.

It's not hard to find and prices are dropping because of it's replacement's launch.

GB Cerf EL 26mm are 190g. I'm running the 23mm version (175g) and have yet to puncture them.

My 23mm GP4KS2s weigh 195g, they measure 25mm on my 17c wheels. Not sure I'd want to give up the durability for a few grams.

Maxxis High Road SL
700x25
340g/pair

Challenge Corsa Latex
120g/pair

Most certainly can go lower with TPU tubes.

Something from Rene Herse or Grand Bois.

My Grand Bois Col de La Madeleine 23mm EL are 180g. Fantastic tires. I used to ride them with Vredestein latex tubes which are about 45g.

Cerf Bleu 26mm EL are listed as 190g.
