I don't think you can take my post as anything degrogatory about these wheels. You instead are looking like a paid cheer leader for spin.

My comments have been restricted dokey to what can be gleaned and what can't from the website which is not much.

Your the one trying to start a bun fight. Were not taking the bait.

Hardly. I spent my well earnt cash on these and am very happy.

Happily take something for nothing though if he ever reads this  though I suspect he is busy building wheels above spending his time, thus killing time on WW, Bike Radar and co.

I hope your customers are as happy as his in effect

Although I don't have any irons in this fire, here is a video of the guy building a wheel:

I realise wheelbuilders all chase the same £ but his customer service, knowledge, website and product are to my mind excellent. As before as sum of all the parts and academic as to if sourced from indo china, mesopotamia, North Macedonia or Swaziland, what is is.
Academic in terms of performance perhaps, but then why lie about it? To my mind integrity is important, and a company that lies about what they're selling me gets a pass.

They may be great, but there's also a lot of great options from companies I know are being honest.

diegogarcia, I am not sure why you are trying to put others down. As a owner of these wheels you are potentially in a position, to contribute something useful, you know technical details.

Looks like someone building bog standard open mold rims on to some passably nice hubs (Bit like bm0p700f) then adding a shit load of spin, advertising and shiny logos (Not like bm0p700f)

Looks a bit like this ;)

I get my spokes from sapim in bags of 500 to lengths I need. That saves me the time cutting and threading which for one spoke is not long but add it up over the year means Id rather have sapim do it.
I visited Ryan at http://www.ryanbuildswheels.co.uk/ He used a tool like this to cut and thread spokes. I was very impressed with how quickly it worked, but quite a outlay https://www.i-ride.co.uk/products/acces ... =CYC720265

The product description said Sapim alloy nipples.
The page I looked at literally says “Nipples: Stainless steel silver”

I’m guessing that is describing the spokes, but I’d hope that a wheel builder would get details like this correct.

I don't think there is anything wrong with buying wheels from the far east and building them yourself.

However the bit that MattR said about adding the marketing stuff behind it is dishonest and if someone is going to those lengths, what else are they fudging?

For what it's worth, bm0p700f sent his own wheels in to be tested off his own back. The results showed he didn't have the ultimate fastest wheels but having ridden them around the car park, I would have no hesitation in buying them. Some of the other "branded" wheels are aerodynamically better BUT aero testing doesn't take into account the hub drag and how well built they are.

That's a classic. Looks like Hunt makes at least $500 per wheelset.

You can get the exact same wheelset from farsports with the same rim, same hub, and same spoke for around $600 shipped, so you are basally paying $800 for stickers and they are super fugly too.

What hub are they using?
