I'd look into a 35mm carbon clincher rim for balance of lightweight and stiffness. Should be closer to 410g that way.

24/28 spokes
Aivee ED1 hubs are durable and good weight250grams for set (DS flange is 18mm from center)
Rim under 450grams will be too flexi
Do you know of any US distribution for these? These look like a dream hub looking at geo and weight.

I would love to see those rims on a corrected scale to prove that claim.

Seems the weight is correct, the built wheels are also very light. It's a disc only rim though, and they don't seem to have light rim brake rims.

Eie carbon is currently the lightest option for rim brake clinchers. They only list the 60mm in superlight, but they can do the other heights too, I got a 40mm.

I'd still like to see weights on a scale. It's far too common for components to come in more than claimed. Have you seen either their wheels or just the rims weighed?

For reference, Enve 3.4 disc rims are 390g and 397 grams respectively. I have found Enve's claimed weight to be pretty much their average so some lighter and some lower.

For rim brake their 2.2 rims are 410g and the 3.4 rims are 432g and 439g respectively.

I'd also like to see the rims weighed of course, but my experience with Chinese vendors is that - unlike with bigger Western brands - the weights are always correct for some reason.

Why would you ride in 80kph winds. That makes no sense. In winds that strong the last and only time I experienced them on a bike I was all over the road. Hense you remove riding in gales my statement makes more sense.
