I got my pair a few weeks ago and they been on my (new to me) Cervelo. I couldn't be happier! They came in at 28g. The cam movement feels positive and confidence inspiring. I prefer the fine threading these have. The fluted axle is so awesome, but it's like wearing sexy underwear. Only you will know they are there (at least until you get home). Shame I can't stare at them while riding, but that's good. Better to keep eyes on the road. The hollowed out handles are also a really nice touch. You can tell a lot of thought went into these. They are clearly not a "me too" pair of skewers. They make other skewers just meh.

Maybe it is me, but on my 25" monitors, this image presents an interesting visual effect in that the fluting of the shafts make the skewers look slightly arc'd/bent.

The fluting has a twist to it.

I see what you mean, but they are straight.

Unfortunately that's true (at least now). I hope that changes in the future.

Working on it.

What's the reason they have a twist?

What is so special about these? How are they stronger/more reliable than qr in the similar weight category? I was warned by ex pro not to use these lightweight skewers as wheels can be released from them just by pushing the wheel by one hand to side..
