So I'm thinking about rebuilding one of my Flo Cycling rims that's currently on a carbon TI front hub (non disc) into a disc brake on a DT Swiss 240 20 hole front hub.
Flo said it's ok to use their Brake rims for a disc build (I already have a set built and have used it for the last two years).
My question is safety. DT Swiss wouldn't sell a 20 hole disc front hub if they didn't have confidence in it right? Does anyone currently ride with a 20 spoke disc front wheel?

If you don't weigh over 75kg, build the wheel with good nipples and spokes at even proper tensions, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I don't suggest to use huge rotors but smaller ones so that you kind of limit the torque you put through the hub.

As an example, all Cannondale SystemSix Knot64 wheels are disc brake and have 20 spokes in front. New in the market, but early production wheels have been ridden lots.
If you cross all the spokes (not half-radial), then 20 are enough to transmit all the braking torque of a single bike (but not a tandem).
Other aspects of good wheelbuilding obviously still apply: tension, etc.

Awesome thanks a lot. Yeah I really take my time in my builds and get the tensions to be within 5% slightly below the max tension. I am at 80kg though. I guess I can wait and lose some weight while I wait for the hub to come in. Thanks
Which hub did you end up getting? I'm looking to build up a 20 hole rim brake wheel into a disc brake front wheel. I'm building this up for a TT bike so I'm not very worried about stiffness
I can't seem to find any do 240 20 hole front disc hubs.
