Was Planet x DISC/88 on same bake as others or on TT bike?

So happy I did not buy them. SRAM and Zipp crap has broken too often for me but the bottomline.....the spoke hole and fin just looked too ugly. Plus $2k per wheel with no real evidence......although I did read of Field test indicating 454's were almost as fast as 303's
I'm not quite sure what is the the Farsport V50 model?
All I can find is: https://www.wheelsfar.com/50mm-x-25mm-c ... m-25u.html
It seems to be referenced as FSC50CM-25U. Is the V version is a discontinued older model?

Quick question. Apologize if I missed this in the blog post, trying to get a clearer picture of the baseline. I know the test is done with rider on hoods, but at what bar width?
While the numbers would change on a 44 vs a 40 bar, I imagine the differences between wheels wouldn't change much, if at all, mostly just curious.

From a testing perspective, why the hell would the wheels care about the bar width?rlpaul wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 2:34 pmQuick question. Apologize if I missed this in the blog post, trying to get a clearer picture of the baseline. I know the test is done with rider on hoods, but at what bar width?

You are trying to over complicate an already difficult test.
We need also test with small backpack.
I think it is more aero - i ride with mtb same track on mounatin. And descending on asphalt road feels harder without backpack. (Speeds 40-55kph).Little offtopic.

42cm. You have to take the power output as a guide as it is totally at the mercy of factors that have bigger influence ie riding position. Dropping your head by a few cm can have much more of an effect than the difference between the wheels.
I spoke to the individual who owns them. They did come in V and blunt shape. The wheels tested were the sharp V. I don't know if the model number is still valid.TiCass wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 1:28 pmI'm not quite sure what is the the Farsport V50 model?
