Hi Guys,

I’m thinking of buying deep and very light tubular wheels. I have a choice between these two. What do you think is better and why?

Thanks

Bling and weight - lighweight..

I have not seen a direct aero comparsion... but I dont see the LWs being more aero the 7.8s. I have the clinchers and they are very fast to me.

I'd like to say the ENVEs but as I took delivery of a pair of 7.8 tub rims, only today, I'd have to say that. Hoping so anyway. They should be a light build considering their depth. Guess I will find out once I build them up and glue some rubber on

Well the build went well - build came in at 1399g for the pair. Tune Mig/Mag + cx-rays.

Glued on Veloflex Arenbergs and they fit really nice with the rim bed.

See my recent pics in the Titanium and Cervelo gallery threads for the wheels out in the wild. Been out in some strong winds and I forgot I was riding them - incredible. Unsure if, or by how much, faster they are... but they ride good and sound good.
