Never had an issue w. tubeless setup using Pirelli PZero Race TLR (26mm, my preferred tyre for my AR46). Also no issues w. GP5k or Schwalbe Pro Ones w. tubes.
Thank you. Ordered set of GP5K (with tubes). Will try them once I home end of May.

Got my WR50 wheelset in the mail today :D
No holes in rim bed, drain holes, DT350 hubs, sapim cx-ray spokes, "oilslick" brass nipples.

Banged some terra speeds on and galfer wave centrelock discs.

Tyres seated with just a track pump.

My WR45 disc DT350 28 spoke rear wheel needs truing. What specs do I need to tell lbs to get it done right? I only found this: "120~130kgf front disc side and rear drive side".

Nothing, he/she should be able to true a wheel. If you want it done really well maybe find a wheelbuilder to do it (in my experience better than the "average" lbs).

Ok, good. Thanks. Most shops here are more focused on commuters etc. and seem almost afraid of anything carbon :D

Then I'd find a wheelbuilder

I've made a right mess of my new AR46 matte wheels trying to get on some Schwalbe Pro One tubeless tyres.

Any idea if I could get these tyre lever marks out (line around the outside) or have I damaged them irredeemably before the first ride :-|

Suppose, if anything I'll be less bothered when they pickup a stone mark now :D

I have two rides with gusty winds on the WR50 now, and I am super impressed by their crosswind stability. The wind was blowing 16 mph with gusts to 31 (26 kph, 50 kph). Sure, the bike moves a bit and you had to wrestle it some, but nothing compared to what I rode previously - 32c GP5000 on aluminum rims, 23 mm outside, 17.5 mm inside, 21 mm deep. On those wheels/tires, the breakaway of wind pushing you to not pushing you sideways was severe, and a few times I found myself half way across a lane of traffic. The WR50 is smooth and progressive with 28c GP5000 S-TR. 86 kg rider weight.

I'm impressed enough that I'm going to bulid a set of WR65s for a TT bike I'm building.

I regret so much going for matte finish for this reason. It's so hard to remove the marks on the rim. I don't have any as big as yours but definitely a few small ones that you can only see from close up but it's still annoying. I usually only see them when the rim is really really clean though.

Snap!
Yeah I got some for my gravelly with dt350 hubs and cx-ray spokes.
No movement from the wind at all.

Put some 32mm Michelin power road on and tried it out on the road. Sooo comfy and not much slower than the roadies at all.

Great wheels. Image

Wondering if having no center hole channel access holes is really worth the extra weight? Putting tape will save some weight (I know marginal), but tape works really well and is super easy to install.

Two layers of tubeless tape * 2 wheels is around 15-20 gr, while 44 holes of carbon material is around 10-15 gr.

Also without access hole less sealant is need it... much easier to hold air...
