Hi all, just got a BMC Teammachine SLR02 disc .. unfortunately the stock wheels (DT Swiss 1850) are rather heavy. I've been looking at getting a set of all-around carbon disc clinchers in the 40-50mm depth range. So far I've narrowed it down to the ENVE 3.4 disc (I have a friend who might be able to get me a bro deal on these) and Roval CL50 disc. I'd like to keep it to $1500 or under, gently used is fine. Are there any other options out there that I should be aware of? ZIPP 303s are heavier and more expensive than I'd like. Not too familiar with what Chinese carbon options there are. Many thanks in advance.

Ive got a pair of Roval CLX32 disc that I really like but have just ordered a pair of wheels for my wife’s bike, Lightbicycle rims on DT240 cl disc hubs and Cx Ray spokes for $1010 and claimed 1425g, can’t wait to see how they compare.

I bought a set of DT Swiss ERC 1400s (which is a cheaper version of the ERC1100s). 47mm depth, 1530ish grams, fairly wide (suits 25mm and 28mm tyres). And they cost $1400 AUD brand new (which was a good deal that I can’t find at the moment.

Love them. Stable in the wind, use 240 hubs with 36t ratchet, and look bling.

People tend to prefer wider wheels, and CL50 is 29mm wise if I remember. I'd go with Rovals.

If you can get Enve 3.4 disc at $1500, that's a nobrainer

What are you looking to gain with the new wheels? The CLX32 seem like a great all around set, I am considering them as I do a lot of climbing.

The CLX's ARE a great set of wheels, but they're on my bike. I wanted a set for my wife at a lower price point than the CLX's.
