Hi All,

When coasting, the freehub sound on my Bora's and Zonda's sounds the same - relatively quiet. The freehub on my Shamals sounds more like a hive of angry hornets.

The campy parts list and all use the same freehub parts: FH-BUU015, FH-BO014 and FH-BUU004)... so why the difference?

Thanks,
BB

Could be the amount of grease in there or lack thereof.

Nup, they sounded as they do straight out of the box.

LOL

My experience is similar ... Shamal noisiest, then Bora (but much quieter), and quieter still is Zonda. That's across a few sets of each too.

Doesn't seem to matter though. They all "spin up well" , whatever that means

Yep, exactly. It's weird, I can't figure out why they all sound so different. Gonna transplant some cassette bodies over the next week and see what happens...
