Hi,
I have a wheel with a dt240s rear centerlock hub. I'm interested in buying a Cervelo R5 disc frame in future however they only accept 12x135 spacing for hubs. Is it possible to convert my hub with the appropriate end caps to 12x135 thru axle? Thanks.

Can certainly be done, but what you need depends on your exact model of hub. See either https://www.dtswiss.com/en/support/conv ... road-rear/ (for road hub) or https://www.dtswiss.com/en/support/conv ... -mtb-rear/ (for MTB hub) to get the part number needed.

The part exists. I think I have them in stock. However 135*12 is a dead standard. I would avoid a bike with it.

Cool thanks for the info. Yeah I know 12x135 is dead but why does Cervelo spec the R3 disc and R5 disc with it? Same with the Cannondale and the supersix evo disc.

The new Bianchi infinito cv disc is 135 too! odd... but i'm sure the next gen will be 142.

I would guess it is due to tolerances with the existing molds which could be easily modified for 135 spacing, but not 142.
