Anyone know if the 28mm Hutchinson Fusion 5 TR 11storm is true to size when mounted? What's your experience on your own wheels?

My 25 mm 11 storms came in at 28.5 on my clx wheels. Have 28s ready to go on some 22id wheels will post size when installed. FYI weight was 270gr each tire for performance 28 tr 11 storm.

270g is quite light for a 28c advertised tire. Hopefully it's less than 31 when mounted.

This was an update over the past year. ENVE when they released it never had any restrictions for the use of the AR 4.5 Disc rims. Now they have PSI and Tire requirements now. If you want to ride whatever tire you want I'd say out of the two CLX 50.

This is Fusion 5 Performance Tubeless Ready 11storm 28c vs Pro One Tubeless 25c.

The Fusion 5 28c is approved by Enve to use on the 4.5 AR, but not the Pro One 25c even if it measures very close to the Fusion 5...ImageImage

Someone knows how it is possible that BMC sells the new Roadmachine with ENVE 4.5 AR DISC with Vittoria Corsa clincher tires (28mm)?

has to be 28mm... because that's Enve's min. I doubt BMC would sell it with something smaller. I wish I could know if the 4.5AR with 28mm rubber would fit the new timemachine road....

I think ODC is wondering how they sell clincher tires instead of tubeless...?

As I've indicated in a couple other threads, Enve customer services vetted Conti GP 4000 s II 28c for use with tubes on these wheels. Perhaps they've also vetted other clinchers in other one offs?

On the topic of width, anyone ever seen these on a Wilier Cento 10 Air Disc and know if they fit reasonably well?

If you want to run 28mm tires Enve (25mm inside), for 25mm tires Roval (21mm inside).

28mm tires will be faster if your average speed is below 35km/h or you have very bad roads.
Will 28mm be slower at high speed?
Can you use normal tyres on the enve’s or only tubeless?
Above 35km/h the aero benefit made a 25mm tyre faster than a 28mm tyre.
Below 35km/h the rolling resistance make a 25mm tyre slower than a 28mm tyre.

Race on 25mm and train on 28mm, simple as that. It's silly to train on 25mm tires, unless you still live in 2014 era.

Did you try the 25 Pro ones on the rims? Alternatively, did you ask Enve about it given the actual measurements ?
