After a new set of wheels for the hilly days and as much as I may like the look of other wheels it has been drawn to my attention that the Giant range are currently under offer.

Now I do try and pay attention to weight but it is always related to justifiable spending rather than indulgence. Now beyond the fact I save weight which I love the idea of, is there a good reason to buy SLR0 climbing wheelset over SLR.

SLR0 £1300
1290g
DT240 hub
DT Aerolite spokes

SLR1 £750
1380g
DT360 hub
Sapin CX spoke

Rim depth and braking track all appear the same. Differences in short £550 for 90g, hub and spokes. I struggle to see the "value" but if someone tells me something about the hubs then I am all ears. Spending less gives me money towards the new groupset or new deep rims (having written off my Swiss Side deeps)

Thanks in advance
