To my knowledge, the rims are made inhouse at Schmolke.
My 45TLO were hands downs one of the best deep section wheels I owned.
The spinup was instant and the way they held speed was like no other wheelset I ran.

I'm hoping the revise the rims and come out with TLO v2.0. My 45TLO wheels were right around 1000g.

They're not made by Schmolke.

Who makes the wheels?, my brother want TLO45 tubular with 45 / 150 Tune hubs. For 72 kilos , I advice him SL 70/170 because I think will be more stiff. Is possible make TLO rims with 45 and 150 hubs Tune? A lbs said me TLO and SL rims have different cross pattern.

I'm quite confident that the rims are made by Munich Composites. The german online store bike-components sell those rebranded as clincher "Flechtwerk" wheelsets with Acros hubs at 1400g. I got my 45mm clincher rims build by a wheelbuilder with Carbon Ti hubs at 1280g.

Wheels did excellent last weekend.
They roled the Marmotte Granfondo, no problem.
Excellent braking, side wind on the Galibier, super stable.

I have Schmolke 45 TLO tubular rims laced to Tune 70/170 hubs. I also have a set of Schmolke 30 TLO tubular rims, laced to Tune 45/150 hubs.

The Schmolke 30 wheels weighed in 1010g, built by FWB. When I want stupid fast speed, I put the 45 TLO wheels on and they simply fly. No side to side flex, and braking is pretty damn good now that I have EE brakes and have been running Enve brake pads (Textured brake track pads).

My hands down favorite wheels are the Schmolke 30 TLO wheels. I love the feel of spin up when on long extended climbs, and they're deep enough to hold all of the speed over rollers in LA. The brake track is slimmer than the 45 TLO, so dialing in the pads is somewhat easier and the braking right now is amazing (EE brakes). I literally grab the 9150 levers with 1 finger, and the 30 TLO wheels scrub speed. I've yet to flex the 30 TLO wheels when out of saddle. Most people that ride with me, know that I climb extensively out of the saddle. I thought the Bora 35 wheels were some of the best wheels I've ridden, until I got my 30 TLO wheels dialed in. The 30 TLO wheels with Tune hubs (Decent bracing angles) equate to a pretty damn stiff and fast wheel. I bought the Tune hubs from RYANH and they've been solid. FWB recently overhauled the 150 rear, and man this thing has been running butter smooth. If I ever explode my Tune hubs, I'd like to go with Extralite SP hubs to get the 30 TLO wheels in the 900g range. I had to weight them again recently, and realized they were 1010g... Still pretty damn light for the durable history of them.

Schmolke 30TLO Tune 45/150 = 1010g

Schmolke 45TLO Tune 70/17 = 1177g

I weigh around 175-178lbs 79-81 kilos.

The Schmolke 45TLO wheels were extremely stiff for my weight. I don't recall having any brake rub with hard efforts.
I would love another set of Schmolke 45 TLO rims, but they're simply too fragile for my liking.

You love them and want another set, but they are too fragile?
I don't get it?!

I went for CX ray (didn't wish to go for thinner spokes), Carbon Ti X-road, TLO 45 clincher.
1253g + rim tape (cotton/ 13g per wheel)

How is the braling on those wheels in the wet if you compare to the Campagnolo ac3 braketrack?
I might change my Boira WTO to this one if the weight are correct.
