I picked out all the parts for a Ti frame I am getting except the hubs/spokes. I am going to be building it up 650B so I imagine most hub geos should be able to build a stiff enough wheel. Should I stay away from aluminum axles and go for something steel axle if I am occasionally going to be loading the bike with bike packing bags. Leaning towards WI hubs for color selection and durability as I had a set on a single speed mountain bike that were bombproof. Any other suggestions?

You won't go wrong with White Industries. Steel axle and titanium freehub.

I decided to pull the trigger on pink CLDs. Hopefully will have all the parts together in a week or so.
