Bare Composites

I've been watching these wheels very keenly. For the price, with warranty, they seem like an absolute steal, especially since they are handbuilt in the USA. Though I am not affiliated, I know the wheels will be built in Knoxville, TN. I'll try to get my hands on a set and put up a review. One of my friends loved a set he got to demo. discuss?

Hand built - as in, they import the parts and lace em up in Tennessee? No info about their rims on the site...

Specifically what time? Also, is this the company that Lemond started?

That site is all sorts of nonsense. Not the least of which is "CNC filament wind construction". No, they are not filament wound.

it seems "filament wound" is the latest buzz word in wheels.
I'm just going to leave this here
That's some of the worst flange spacing I've ever seen if it's correct.

Nothing against Bitex, they make some nice hubs. These aren't the ones I'd choose from their lineup though. Not for any reason at all.
If only they made a freehub that had more than 3 pawls engage at the same time...
