So what are people riding PSI wise for races like crits , RRs and such on their tubulars that are wider.

I have aero 58s with Veloflex Roubaix on them, and 100 PSI felt bit much.

I ride my VR's at 90 in the back and 85-90 in the front. This is the first set of the wider 25's I've had, but I've had the 24's in the past.

I'm very happy with them so far, and these pressures seem pretty good to me.

Changing the width of a tubular rim doesn't affect the volume of the tyre like a wider clincher rim does.

And by that I mean at all.

100 - 110 psi

Just the same as with 22/23s ...

OP, I think PSI info is a bit meaningless without knowing the weight of the rider. How much do you weigh?

I would tend to agree with that. I weigh 59-60 and run 25s on some rear tires. I find that there is no problem running them under 100 in the dry. There seems to be enough volume to prevent them from pinch-flatting on the deep rimbeds seen on many of the modern aero wheels.

At 70kg I run the Roubaix at 70/85. Just use this as a base for the minimum pressure you can run and adjust from there:

Why not just experiment. You don't need advise you just need try try different pressures to find what you like.

thanks mainly just looking for a good baseline and where to begin. Now I am debating between making a few transition to tubulars all the time, training and racing.. Since need a second set of wide wheels for pit (or follow car) for racing. Cant imagine having to swap to my cheap 19 width rims in a race if flat haha

At 68 kg, I've found that 80/85 in 25mm Roubaix on the wider Bora rims is the ideal feel for me, though I did get one pinch flat from a sharp rock.
