Hi All

anyone using the above combo? Bora 35mm clinchers with the Vittoria Corsa G+ folding tyre...

if so, how wide is the 23c to the 25c, when pumped up to say 100-110psi?

thanks,

Yes, I'm using both. The 23mm tyre measures 25.2mm on the Bora clincher using a digital caliper. I have the (23mm) Corsa Speeds mounted on my other pair at the moment but when I swap back to the 25mm Corsas I'll measure them and update this thread.

Definitely the 23's. As Mockenrue said they will be 25mm when inflated and will sit well with the Bora's 24.2 outer width.

With about 6.5bar in it, my older Corsa G+ 25c measures 26.8mm on a Bora 35 One. The newer one measures 26.3mm

Strange, on zipps with 26.4mm width measured in the middle of brake track, 25mm G+ is stretched to 26mm only.

It’s the internal rim width that determines the actual tire width. What’s the internal rim width on the Zipps?

Tried this combo . May not be answering your question but be aware that Vittoria Corsa G+ lost pressure so fast it’s not rideable within 2 days due to leakage . Also it’s easily punctured

Clinchers leaking air have nothing to do with the tire. It's the tube. Are you using latex tubes?

If you are talking about tubulars, them yes.. Most Vittorias uses an inner latex tube for better riding feel and those need to be pumped before every ride.
The triathlon series uses butyl tubes because of the need to check in bikes 1 day earlier.

Yep, I'm aware of this.
Internal widths are almost identical for Bora and 808nsw (17.4mm and 17.25mm).
