Sometime in the near future I'm looking to replace my heavier wheelset with something lighter.

I'm more after a shallower light weight wheelset opposed to a deeper more aero set of wheels.

The Boyd 28mm carbon clinchers have taken my fancy.

Has anyone had any experience with them or Boyd wheels in general?

Or are there any other suggestions out there for similar style wheels at the same price point or cheaper.

Thanks.

I have a set of tubeless Boyd clinchers in 38mm. I'm not large (5'7", 140lb) and they've been great. Had a poor valve install issue but that wasn't Boyd's fault.

How long have you had them for and how many kilometres would you have put on them?

What was the valve issue that you had?
