LOL! Not that an OpenPro will steal any sales from Zipp's $4000 wheelset.

Kind of wonder how many $4K wheelsets Zipp actually sell at full retail to doctors, lawyers, and i-bankers vs. the number sold at 60-70% off bro-deals to shop employees.

ZIPP must be close to stroking out from rage.

Hum the ISM machining is probably a 10 years old Mavic technology, the 4d ISM that gives this shape is at least 4 years old... So in absolute if someone had to stroke that would be Mavic no?ImageImageImage

The effect may be the same but the look is quite different. I don't think anyone is stroking out about it.

I was looking for external measurement, would you have them by any chance?

What is the config you your test wheels? Spoke count / tire size wise?

At 430g they could be one of the very best aluminium rim available.

External width is 22.8mm approx Open Corsa 28 measure up as 28.8mm

Wheels are 32s built onto Record hubs with DT Swiss Competition spokes.

Weight IIRC is approx 1700g the pair including skewers but I'll verify that when I swap back to my TB14/Record wheels.

Just got off the phone with Mavic..

Apparently the new Open Pro will not be released in an Exalith version after all.

Does anybody have a release date at all? I can't wait to have one built.

Did you ask for, or did they give a reason why?

Clincher pressure limit 6bar. Joke.

Where do you get the impression there's a 6 bar limit?
