How are older Zipp 404 clinchers - aluminum brake track?

Everything about building wheels, glueing tubs, etc.

I often see these for cheap. I also see them often with a Powertap option. It seems like a cheap way to get into power and an aero wheelset at the same time. Any thoughts?

I haven't seen any of those with a Powertap hub for around $1000.
