What is going on at the bottom of the wheel? It looks like the braking surface is running into the wheel section??
Looks like reflection from the flash. The 3k carbon does drop down a bit more , but nothing like in the pic and its not noticeable in natural light.

A mixture of acetone, diesel fuel, time and elbow grease finally got it all off. With the amount of effort it required, I NOT going through the same pain to remove the stickers on the rear wheels.
It only took me about 30 minutes per wheel. Taking off the stickers didn't take long. Its the residue that takes the longest, but I used some product we have at work which I don't recall now. It worked much better than acetone. It dissolved the sticker residue quickly and doesn't harm clearcoat finish, etc... I will find out on Monday what it is.
By the way your bike looks much better without the stickers. I just find they went overboard with the stickers. I normally don't like stickers on wheels.

Got a set now ... they are really nice. Not outstanding in any respect other than VFM, where they really are a steal vs Zipp/Mavic etc ... ok, slightly inferior hub, but in other respects they are they equal of wheels 60-70% more expensive IMO
If you are on Campag, and can get the Bora One 35s at a good price, I still think they are a better wheel, and better VFM, but these aren't far off

You guys pulling stickers off with solvents etc know that heating up those decals with a hair dryer, until just hot to touch, means that they stickers come off without any effort whatsoever, and very little cleaning required???

I tried with the hair dryer, but it seems like the sticker was breaking up even more.

Heat a corner, Lift up the edge, grab it with tweezers, keep heating until the decal peels easy. Pull back on itself, any other way will cause it to break. Use the heat to do the work.

I much prefer them with decals ... Fulcrum is a brand to be proud of ... no decals looks like Farsports ...
That said the water transfer decals on the Boras are so much nicer than these stickers

I actually left the wheels exposed in direct sun during high noon. The problem is that the residue separates from the actual sticker and remains on the rim. I found it easier to remove the residue when it has been exposed to air overnight, it sort of dried up which made it easier to rub off. When the residue was fresh, it just smeared all over in layers. Imagine it being similar to rolling freshly picked boogers between your fingers to ball it up.

Eucalyptus oil gets the glue off.

This is what I use. Basically it's an eraser which you attach to your dewalt power drill. Removed my fulcrum decals with ease and does not damage wheel coating.

Good analogy. Dried up boogers roll much easier.

Getting some this week, having to take the ENVE 3.4 loaners off the Domane, so this should be an interesting comparison, like for like tyres etc. should look awesome on the Merckx as well. Not sure which bike will wear them more!

Haven't ridden them yet, but 1450g. IDENTICAL weight as the ENVE 3.4.....
Seem well made, hub is a matte finish which some may say is a negative but they're well made and everything seems solid. Bearings stupid-smooth in the hand. Fulcrum/ Campagnolo freehub switch went well, I run Record 11s and the freehubs of all Fulcrum/ Campagnolo are interchangeable down to Vento/ Racing 5.
Quality brake pads and a very satisfactory brake action, with the rough bedding finish of the pads and the 3K brake track. I'm confident it will be streets ahead of the previous generation smooth-track and soft pads of old.
This should get interesting....
