After a chat with the area rep for Madison the uk's dt swiss hub and rim distributor, requesting they start stocking the RR440 in 24H drilling ad the brand manager has agreed. So finally there is a lighter alternatve to the h plus son archetype shame it s more expensive.

Thought I'd share.

Good to know. Not at work now so I can't check, but what about the asymmetric rear option?

Did my first build with the RR440 today and I like it. Came up nice and round with even tension balance. The wheel 32 spoke (sapim Race) with a Miche primato hub feels much stiffer than similar wheels I have built with the RR465 rim.
