Look for 'sidecaps' on this page:

Just for the record I ended up using a non-driveside endcap on the driveside. It doesn't have the flange and allowed the lock ring to be tightened without compressing the bearing. I left a washer out to get the OLD near enough correct. Wheel has been usable and reliable.

Not the ideal solution perhaps but it works.

Recently built up a wheelset with parts from BHS.

Rear hub was their SL210 with Campy freehub.

Different problem.

In my case it was the lockring jamming onto rear dropout.

When comparing Campy 10 and 11-spd lockrings I notice that the 11 is 1.6mm thicker.

Put on a 10 spd lockring - problem solved.

There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?

One.

So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...
and if you fix your attitude you can ride along with me.

Hi,
Does the campa body moves easily onto the axle? I have a F482SB novatec hub (originally with a 10 speed shimano hub) replaced it with a campa kit (same end caps as shown previously. I had to switch the washer from the non drive side to the drive side.. The shimano body came off easily but the campa body needed some force putting onto the axle... tighten the end caps resulting in the wheel not running as smoothly as with the shim body.. mounting the wheel resulted in a frozen wheel... it only happens when tighten the lockring... still searching for an answer...

Re Monza36, you need to file the flange off the driveside end cap. The lockring bears down on the flange otherwise and locks the bearings. More info in this post below, look at the 5th photo.

I'm getting ready to do this myself. Converting Shimano F482SB-11 to Campy 11-speed. Ordering the freehub from BDop. Can anyone else testify the process shown in this video is good enough, even though it says it applies to S482SB-SL?
