I believe they're in between U and V shape. It's not the new open mold design (from what I recall), but its wider track is supposed to feel more at home with a 23mm tire. It's still too cold to ride, but I'll post a report as soon as I get out there.

PM Kyle here for more info. Their website is down now but it's in the cyclecross section.

Once the beads stretch it isn't that bad. I have had to fix flats on my Pro3's a couple of times and one Pedro's lever will work with no issues. A little tighter than most of my wheels, but really not that bad, and that is with Velox. With a thin strip it shouldn't be bad at all.

As you can tell the brake track is, eventually, wearing in. That said, I haven't noticed any decrease in braking performance nor have I lost any confidence in the quality of these wheels. I continue to descend at the same rate and I can still make emergency brake efforts with confidence. Despite the mileage, the hubs are running exceptionally smooth with never a problem to speak of. The wheels have never gone out of true despite horrible road conditions at times, they're as stiff as they were when they came out of the box.
After I sent her the link she replied acknowledging the 25mm existence and saying that it is the newest wheelset. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one.
