I'm 140 punds and I use my 6.7 more than my 3.4's. I just love them.

i have Lightweight Meilensteins, Enve 45 on my other bikes...but like the SES 3.4 as my all around wheel.

Would the SES 6.7 be too much for a light rider weighing 140lbs?

I ride 808s and I'm 130lbs dressed. You get used to them really.

Yep, i have meilenstein clinchers on my evo. They get blown around pretty bad in a crosswind. I have mavic CC SRs on my other bike, they are much less affected by wind, which is strange as they are a 20/20 carbon spoke 50mm V shaped rim vs the meilensteins 16/20 carbon spoke 47.5mm V shaped rim. I have not tried a wider rim (firecrest, HED etc) for comparison though. Other than that they are a great wheelset, stiff, light, strong, ride really well (ie: vibration absorption).

These wheels are super light for the profile, its still an alu rim on the inside though.

My choice is probably going to be Bontrager aeolus d3 35mm as these keep it "in house" branding but use DT internals.

Currently im using the mavic cosmic SLEs which is nice wheelset but I doubt the hubs are upto much from riding so far, front hub needs adjustment to remove some play and the rear hub has started with a slight rattle.

Hijacking this a bit.

Bought a set of 404 Firecrests, and absolutely love them. Unfortunately they don't fit my frame, as the rim hits the chainstays under acceleration. So these are ending up for sale, and then I'm looking for new wheels again.

I think I've narrowed it down to the Enves 6.7 clinchers and the Reynolds Aero 58.

Some say the Enves are the bet, others say that the Reynolds have an aerodynamic advantage. I guess it's all in the details, and probably microscopic differences, but can anybody point them out for me? Also, I've yet to see some reviews/tests of the Reynolds - anybody got any?

Both wheelsets look interesting, with the cheaper option being the Reynolds.

I'm personally waiting for VisionTech to get their Metron 40c and 56c in production to be purchased. I don't have a contact email and only a phone number for their US based operation and haven't called to try and get an ETA. Cannondale is riding them on the tour now.

Weights/specs are pretty amazing, don't see how any other wheel could compare personally at the price point they are talking about.

You can always drop $3K+ on some Enve's at will though.

@Kermithimself- Don't forget about the warrantys. Reynolds would only get you a 2 year warranty where as the Enves would come with a 5 year warranty.

My personal choices are enve 45 s , or zipp 404 s . They are high end , and relatively expensive, but worth every penny because you get your moneys worth with the performance and durability you get out of them.
