It's a pretty common practice. Regular nipples.

Haha..cool. But I didnt know those aluminum Fulcrums were "high-end" racing wheels like the outdated video suggests.
Cool technique, simplest of solutions sometimes.
What gets me a tad pissed is I bought a set of 40mm Hongfu aero rims. Then not long after, light came out with their 45mm, which I prefer. Yet, even with the 5mm added depth and no holes drilled, they are the same weight as my Hongfu.
Oh well.
