+1

My 2010 ultra is 588g, chopped with starnut.

Ultra AKA Lead Brick.

But yes, the premium fork is the better of the two.

And AFAIK, those were the only two fork options for the 2010 CAAD9.

Correct... Premium is a little lighter, but still over 400g... I've been thinking of upgrading to edge at some point... a 1.0 would be a nice fit on this bike... trying to find myself a set of hollowgrams for now though...

I'll get photos up this weekend... for now, here is a pretty bad one with my reynolds assaults on... I've modified a few things since this photo... but this will give you the idea... i'll get some good photos tonight to post...

Looks nice!
Size 56??

Could you please measure the seat tube, from center of BB to the top of the tube, seatclamp included?
And head tube height + conical spacer height too?
Thank you!!!!! :beerchug:
Have something in my mind about a CAAD...... ;)
BTW, how much is the frame worth, size 56, same color, ultra fork, headset+spacer, seatclamp? 300 €?

Please, remowe the sadlle bag just for pics

Sure... i'll try to do that tonight... IIRC, its a 54cm seat tube, so a little higher with the clamp...

Varies, I've seen them go for 350 or 400 USD used and up to about $600 new... i've seen a caad10 go for under $600 recently...

Thank you!
Yeah, 54 to the top spot of the top tube. This means 56 (or even 57) to the top of the seatclamp.

Someone is selling also a CAAD 9, same size and color. And I am not 100% sure which one to get, 54 or 56.
I want it too look agressive, but not too small. I am 176 cm tall and ride 75 cm sadlle height.

FWIW, I'm 6 foot (182.88cm) tall... and i ride the 56... its on the smaller end, which i like in my bikes, and hence I've got a setback post...

i belivee the caad10 geometry is the same... maybe you can find a shop near you? not sure how common they are over there...

Also... its a pretty aggressive frame... if you look on the cannondale site, they have all the specs, sizing, etc... it is a great ride... i typically ride steel (i'm not a real weight weenie)... but this is a very comfortable ride, especially with a good set of wheels underneath...

Thanks!
Looking at the geo chart, 54 would be my size. I guess.
Found some pics on the of 54`s with setup for my size.

Yeah, read a lot of good stuff about CAAD!

I am sad. I will never be able to get a Hollowgram crankset on my 2009 non-BB30 CAAD9.
When I bought it, I got the entire bike ('09 CAAD9-7) for only $750. brand-new-in-the-box
at a bike shop. I was considering just getting a 2010 CAAD9 frameset. I have no regrets,
but damn...it would've been nice to slap a Hollowgram set on it. It is worthy.
