The SRAM BB30 bearings that came in my CAAD10 weighed 46.4 grams. My 54 weighs 1175 grams, so a little heavier than claimed, but pretty close as you mentioned.

Super nice. Is this raw a brushed, non-anodized? As in raw. Or raw with a clear coat sprayed? Or just clear anodized?

Also, love that scale, link?

It has a clearcoat and is brushed. But I am not totally sure of the way they finished it.

I got the scale at Superstore. It is a large Canadian grocery store, and it is their house brand President's Choice.

it appears a brand named taylor has them on amazon. I'd say it is accurate to within 1 gram. I got it for weighing this little guy, who thought I was taking his pic hereImage

I was in Ottawa last week. Planet X brakes came. I got the gunmetal ones and it is cool that they are two-toned, they match the paint on the seat stays and the fork quite nicely.

Sean Wai still says my wheels aren't ready though. That's ok, still minus 25 celcius outside...

Great build list. It will look a million dollars when it's done.
I managed 6.785 with my CAAD9 using a full Force Groupset - although some of my build kit was lighter - the crankset you have and the brakes would probably even the score.
I ended up needing little things like seatpost collar and expander to bring it under the 6.8 mark. Oh and a set of 1200g tubbies :D
One thing I did notice missing in your weight calcs was the chain.

The chain that came stock is what I'll use for now, it is the KMC DC10SC and is listed.
I have ordered a set of Soul S2.0, claimed weight is 1330, the Ti skewers are supposed to be 45g and the cages 25geach. And it appears I forgot the rimplugs which should be like 10g?

So that ends up at 6735. I can't see either the cages or the skewers being over by much, and some posts I've seen people said the soul wheels were underweight, but it's ok if they are over... If need be I have some lighter tires and the stock stem to save 100 grams. I also will get some lighter bar tape than what came stock.

But I also ordered the CA5.0s so that total will be 7005g

Your CAAD9 looks pretty sweet :beerchug:
