Calnago wrote:A nice build indeed! But you know what I like most about your thread... is your descrption of your goals with the bike and how you changed plans midcourse. Then you listed parts, etc., and explained briefly WHY you chose them. Maybe it was for looks, maybe function, but I don't think you ever sacrificed function for looks. In other words, you knew what you were after, and chose accordingly as opposed to just throwing a bunch of money at a project and buying whatever bling part is the current rage. And the photos are great. All round great job.

Thanks buddy, thanks for paying attention aswell! The course of throwing the most expencive or just the lightest parts you can find on a frame shows in the end result. There have to be compromises in every build, the trick is to make them in the right place for you:).

Incredible.

Love the color, mostly as it is the color of a TT bike I am having painted. French racing blue. I got my inspiration from the new Jaguar XKR-S color. This gives me a good view of what to expect. Very nice!

Make sure to post some shots when it's finished. What frame are you having painted?

That thing looks super nice. Bravo.
One comment because it is a pet-peeve of mine...
The bar wrap end tape job leaves a little to be desired.

I believe you have your own thread where you can brag about your unfinished bike.

Pretty poor form.
