Hi all

built up my planet x at the start of the year, great ride just a bit flexy. So have bought a focus cayo to strip parts for the planet x to make it a commuter and the focus as the race bike.

As the planet x stands its 6.71kg

will have pics of the focus next week with any luck :)

Tell about the wheels -- how are they?

They are a set of Soul C4.0 (Carbon Clinchers 40mm) they are awesome to ride, spin up fast at 1390 grams and the pads that came with them are great no squeaking either under hard braking.

I have done about 2000km on them and cannot fault them.

Got the planet x back today, which has porked up to 8.9kg with pedals :(

The new frame is 1150grams (med 54cm) with a porky fork at 490 grams, hoping for around 7kg but a better all around ride with no flex :)

Finally got the focus sorted and ready to roll, here is a pic of both. The planet x now is my commuter and the focus is the race day bike.

Focus came in at 6.95kg so a bit of a weight increase, new fork would save me a lot. The planet x porked up to 8.25kg but both ride nice. Got a nice outing planned for this weekend coming to test the focus, 5000m of climbing over 140km. Got to love Hobart, Tasmania :)
