question for owners of Canyon bikes with Kyrsium Exalith wheels...

we are supposed to using Mavic Exalith brake pads with these wheels but when i got my Ultimate CF SLX the pads were marked with Swissstop Flash branding..
is it ok to use Swissstop Flashpro pads again or should i be using Mavic own branded Exalith pads?

Exalith 2

These are the brake pads on my bike, it's a 2017 ultimate cf slx
The wheels are mavic ksyrium pro exalith sl
IMO as long as those brake pads come with your bike from Canyon they gonna work just fine.

the mavic pads on bike24 are also made by swissstop, if you look closely you can even see their logo on the side

from Chain Reaction Q&A:
The Exalith pads have been specifically developed according to Mavic's Exalith rim technology to ensure the most consistent and predictable braking, in any weather conditions. You should only use direct Exalith replacement pads. SwissStop BXP Aluminium pads should still work well, but would likely wear faster than the Exalith specific option.

not sure which ones to go with... i haven't done much mileage on the ones that came with it and they are wearing pretty quickly.

and here: http://www.eleven.cc/mavic-r-sys-slr-exalith-review/
Point to note: Yes, the Swissstop Flash Pro Green GHP2 pads are the same compound as the Swissstop/Mavic pad designed for these wheels, but the Mavic pad has a differently designed face which apparently works better with the Exalith surface – choose wisely for that second set of pads as you may well lose some of the benefit of that braking performance.

It's an Aeroclam - designed by a nice guy based in New Zealand. It doesn't fit the Fizik Arione quite as well as other saddles but it still works okay.

Question to all Ultimate CF SLX owners who have had the bike for 2+ years: How is the frame holding up ? Is it still as stiff and responsive as the first ride ?

that's exactly what I'm waiting for (same model, too). july can't come soon enough!
although I think it's not gonna be that cheap this time because the price went up 100 Euros at the end of last year, so I'd expect it around 3000, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Edit: not to forget this year it's the 100th anniversary of the Giro so who knows, they might do a sale in May

So i ordered a Aeroad CF SLX 8.0 Di2, estimated dispatch date was 23rd to the 28th of April. got an email this morning saying it has been sent, and by today it was already out of Germany on its way to Aus! I guess i have been lucky as i have heard some horror stories!
