You need the black sotto voce (IIRC) King headset.

I guess you are slowly hurrying to finish this off. I think the finished result will be worthwhile.

That paintwork is amazing! Enough said really....

Could we get a side on shot with your low profile rime and lightweights...

for those folks still hoping to see the end of this thread, i finally completed this bike yesterday.

build list
pegoretti marcelo frame, stock size 56 chris king headset, mizuno carbon forks 45mm rake
campagnolo 2011 super record, 34-50 12/27 -exceptions: KMC 11 speed chain and chorus cassette
fizik arione carbon CX saddle (apologies damjan  )
3T doric limited seatpost 27.2 (using shim to bring up to 29.6 - we'll see how that works!)
3T pro stem 12cm (i made a mistake, soon to be changed for a 10cm one)
3T team carbon bars 42cm
time RXS carbon Ti pedals 2005 vintage
lightweight gen 2 wheels 2007 vintage - veloflex criterium tyres
hope QR
bontrager cages (temporary), bontrager handlebar tape

its a fraction over 16lbs i think, so no weight weenie. the finish is exquisite.
looking forward to the first ride.

Pegoretti never fails to impress me! :) I'm digging the "vintage" LWs

All a matter of personal preference, i guess. Still don't like the paintwork at all and LWs? On a frame like that?

It's gorgeous, truly. Even still - there are some details grating on me. The platinum King headset is just plain wrong - it needs a black one, and the brake and shift cables have been cut way too long. Not the housing, but the cables themselves.

I love the paintwork.
Don't be alarmed.
