Love all of Dario's paint schemes!
Something completely out of left field.
Hard to match components to that, but the mainly black of yours suits it perfectly!

Also really dig the lack of decals on the wheels, I plan to do that with my build as soon as I get the frame here!!!

The modern component mix with the 'traditional' frame is exactly how I like it!

2 decent rides in since changing to Jure's carbon saddle combo, so i'd like to give a personal mini review of his product.

saddle comfort is personal, but for comparison the combo provides pretty much identical comfort as the previous fizik arione carbon and 3T limited doric seatpost i replaced.

feeling vindicated with my decision to support a fellow forum member, who i can now vouch from experience executes really nice products and provides a personal service to back them up. i'm delighted with my combo

Just on the 3T seatpost and the shim, did you ever have any issues with it slipping or anything?
Where did you get the shim from?

How is the bike going now after a bit of time....?

This has to be one of the nicest pegs I've seen.

Well, thanks for the acknowledgement

thanks for the nice comments. i got the shim from Chain Reaction Cycles online. 29.4mm>27.2mm. it never slipped and didn't need to be overtightened either. lucky i guess.

damjan, i felt relieved when i swapped out that saddle because i remembered it might make your day seem better. one less arione

honestly, things i wished i'd done? ...

1. ordered the painted forks.

2. may seem like heresy on ww forum but i think the carbonsports wheels which i've owned since 2007 will be replaced with something less 'uptight' to ride. its taken 5 years for the novelty to wear off. still thinking about what though: maybe mavic CD or mavic r-sys SLR.

3. black handlebar tape (this is coming back)

4. 10cm stem (put it back on last week)

I am so happy you did this!!

It seems a little bit weird to me to have such a high-tech, ultra-light and uncomfortable looking saddle with no padding, with a steel frame with comfy geometry. I might be wrong of course, that saddle must be comfy to you i guess, but it looks definitely weird, right? bike is asking for black tape. For the rest is an incredible bike. paint job is truly awesome. It's so rare in cycling industry to see such a colorful scheme that does not look over done or with too many logos or that stuff... congrats!!

some new shallow wheels arrived in January from wheelsmith.co.uk.
Finally they are in the bike. i've even added black tape several people mentioned. Aesthetically i'm comfortable.

Looks great! Those Wheelsmith 23s look really good value. He's currently building me a rear IRD Cadence wheel with a Record hub to go with my Extralite/CX Ray/IRD Cadence front he did.

Love the look of the new wheels, can you offer any details of what they are? Rim/spokes/hubs ?
